disable comments

  Hi,

  I have trying to remove/disable the option to leave a comment on my blogging site. I have unchecked the boxes where it says in discussion section “Allow people to post comments on new articles” and “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) “. Also, unchecked where it says show on screen “comments” etc.. and clicked saved/apply changes. but yet I continue seeing this option on site.

  How do I disable the comments on all post and site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,
  The default setting for comments on all WordPress blogs is comments open on all pages and posts so if you have an issue it’s because you canhed the settings. This page > Settings > Discussion http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/ Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments throughout the blog. In addition we can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any post or page. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/
