Disable comments and 'pingbacks' on all posts

  I want to disable comments and pingbacks on all posts at once instead of having to go to each entry and do it. Is there a way?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can change the default article settings on this page –
  https://wordpress.com/settings/discussion

  And disable these two options –
  1) allow link notifications from other blogs
  2) allow people to post comments on new articles
