Disable comments from individual images in Oxygen theme

  I have been able to remove all Comment boxes and reblog/like boxes from every pages on my blog using Oxygen theme except for image pages like this one: http://embellishantiques.wordpress.com/furniture/#jp-carousel-60. After I click on the thumbnail to open the full image, the full image display page contains the comment box and reblog/like box.

  Is there a way to remove this?

  Hey there,

  At this point in time, comments cannot be disabled from WordPress.com Carousel slideshows.

  If you’d like to continue using the Carousel, your best bet will be to use Custom CSS, a part of our Custom Design upgrade, to hide the comment box. If you decide you’d like to go this route, let me know, and I’ll make sure you have the CSS you need to accomplish your goals.
