Disable comments on a particular page

  Hi,

  I’d like to be able to disable comments on particular pages (but allow comments by default). On other WordPress installations I can simply uncheck “Allow comments” or similar when editing a page. I cannot find this option on wordpress.com. Is there any way to do this on wordpress.com?

  Go to “screen options” (up in the right hand corner at the top of the editing pane, there’s a link to a drop-down screen options menu) and be sure that the “Discussion” option is checked. When it is checked, you should be able to find below the text input area the module with the option to disable commenting.
