disable comments on pictures

  I am running the free level of wordpress. Is there any way to disable comments showing up on pictures.

  Hi there,

  If you are going to be uploading many images on new posts, the fastest way to do this is to disable commenting for your entire site. However, you will need to remember to enable comments on Posts or Pages (if enabled) when you publish them.

  If you want to disable commenting on images and photo Galleries that you have already published, you will have to edit each image and disable commenting in your site’s WP Admin>Media Library. For your above site, that would be https://sparechangecincy.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php Make sure your images are in List View by toggling the icon at the top of the column if needed.
