Disable Comments on Static Pages

  Hi

  I have a wordpress website with several static pages and 1 blog page.

  I wish to disable comments on all static pages and leave comments open on the blog page.

  Please could someone suggest an easy way to do this?

  I found this:

  Set the Homepage

  BUT… it still allows comments on my home page (and I actually want to disable comments on ALL static pages)…

  The main page with default settings for comments throughout the blog is found here > Settings > Discussion
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/
  We can override those default settings on any post or page. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/
