Disable comments option not showing

  Hi there,

  I wish to disable all comments on my website, but the option to turn off comments and pingbacks is option not showing in the Discussion control panel. How do I therefore turn off comments?

  Hi there,

  It looks like all of the settings for disabling comments on future posts or pages is present in the Settings >> Discussion area, and it has all been disabled. Now if you had already created pages or posts and would now like to disable comments for those, you can do so, but it requires a different process. We created a help article right here:

  Please read through the whole article before you start, as you may have to enable a setting in your site in order to proceed and this can throw some people off.
