Disable discussion and comments on my site

  Hi, I have unchecked all the boxes disabling comments and discussion, yet the comment form still shows at the bottom of my pages. Is there something I am missing? I really don’t want comments on this particular site – except for on the blog page when I get that one set up.

  Yes… that was the set of instructions I used to turn off the comment feature, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

  Gabe, Nothing is working. Are you be able to go into the blog and turn off comments for me? I just want it to have the message “comments disabled” on the home and aboutus pages. I think there may be a glitch in the theme I am using. If so, it would be useful for you to discover anyway.

  Nevermind on this. The client has approved leaving the comments active.
