Disable email subscription
-
Hi!
I’ve been getting a lot of spam email subscribers to my website and I want to disable this feature. I have a problem, becuase of these subscribers…
” Domain mywebsite.hu has exceeded the max emails per hour (301/300 (100%)) allowed. Message will be reattempted later”I don’t use subscribers so I would like to just disable it, and solve this “exceeded max email” problem
How can I do that?
Also what’s the most effective way (plugin) of protection against spams, etc? Thanks for the help :),

Hi there, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. These forums are for those hosted here at WordPress.com.
For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate, so if you do not already have an account at WordPress.org, you will need to register.
The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
You can change your notifications for when an email is sent to you at Settings > Discussion in your dashboard.
Also, you can add the pertinent information to the Comment Blacklist and they will be sent to spam.
If you have the Akismet Anti-spam plugin installed, marking those as spam will help Akismet learn and then they will begin blocking them.
