disable hyperlinks
-
In a post I’m working on, I have fake URLs listed as part of a sample command-line utility. In the post, I didn’t do anything to make them links, but when I preview the post, the fake URLs in my command examples so up as links and I just want them to appear as text. How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey David,
Because of the way our system reads hyperlinks, they will automatically be active when published.
There are a couple ways around this:
- You can post it as source code, using these instructions:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/posting-source-code/ - You can breakup the html in the Text tab of your content editor. I created an example for you in an unpublished draft post:

I hope one of these suggestions helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much!
