Disable Infinite scroll

The Infinite scroll box is unchecked and the older posts button is at the end of every single post. How do I change that? I would like a maximum of 4 blog posts before having to press the “older posts” button. as of right now, the scrolling feature is too long for my liking. Please get back to me with an answer,
