Disable related posts Expound theme
-
Hello,
I have a problem on my site, I can’t disable the option “related posts” (theme Expound).
On the old dashboard, the option is missing, and with the new dashboard I can’t desactivate it, I just have an option called “save”, but not an option for enable/disable that.Sorry for my English, here a link to the French subject, may be it will help you.

Have you looked in “My Site” “Settings” “General” and scrolled down to tick “Hide related content after posts”. Then you click the “Save Settings” button.
-
Yes I try, but I don’t have an option for hide them, just “save” but I can’t save anything.
I do a screen shot of my options : http://hpics.li/4a1467c -
That’s odd. That section is missing from the new editor as you say.
Perhaps that function might still be available for you in wp-admin

Whoops. I meant It’s missing from YOUR new editor but I still see it in mine.
And I made a typo. Should be:-

Hi there,
The theme you are using, Expound, has related posts built into the theme itself, so it doesn’t use WordPress.com’s related posts. Because of that, it’s not possible to disable this feature on this particular theme, and that’s why you’re not seeing the option.
If you don’t want the related posts to appear it should be possible to hide them using CSS instead. Your Premium Plan allows you to do that, so let me know if you need help with the code needed to make that change.

Thanks for your both reply !
I would like to remove the function, or better if it is possible to change the font to use the same as my website.

I’ll give you both options.
Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes. Then click on the CSS tab. Enter either of the following snippets of code (not both) on a new line in the text box in the CSS tab.
To change the font of the related posts to match your theme:
.related-content .entry-title a { font-family: "Tangerine", cursive; text-decoration: underline; }You can remove “text-decoration: underline;” if you don’t want it underlined – it just looks better to me that way :)
Or to hide related posts completely:
.related-content{ display: none; } -
Yess it works !
Thank you very much, as you say I remove “text-decoration: underline;”, I think it’s better too ! -
