    want to disable right click to protect my content and images
    Help!
    Was told it was a free plugin I can’t get it to work

    Please help

    Hi there,

    Using plugins on WordPress.com requires an upgrade to our Business Plan.

    But personally I wouldn’t upgrade to Business for that – disabling right-click on your site not only causes accessibility issues, it’s also very easy for anyone who knows how to get around plugins like that, so they’re not actually effective.

    The only way to prevent people from copying your content is by not publishing it online at all, but if you publish it on a public website, anyone who really wants to is going to be able to copy it. Best you can do is put a clear copyright notice on your site and watermark your images, so that when you do catch someone re-using your content without permission they can’t use the excuse that they didn’t know.
