Disable "This blog is hidden from search engines"

  • Unknown's avatar

While I’m logged in, on the WP menu headline, I see a mark of an error saying “This blog is hidden from search engines”. I clicked it and confirmed that Site Visibility under Reading Settings is “Allow search engines to index this site”, but the error mark does not disappear.

Please guide me to disable this setting completely. Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

I’ve logged in to your site and confirmed that your settings are correctly configured to allow search engines to crawl your site, though I did not see the error banner that you mentioned.

It has been a couple of days since you wrote this, so can you please confirm if this is still the issue? It may have been a caching issue that was causing the banner to still show up when it shouldn’t have been.

    Thanks

I confirmed now that the banner is no longer there. Thank you for sending back!

You’re welcome. Glad it’s all sorted for you now. If anything else comes up, don’t hesitate to get back in touch.
