disable "view full size" image link
-
I am using the Pictorico theme. When I insert multiple images in my post in applies a slideshow effect to the group of images. I really like this effect but when each photo is displayed it also allows the viewer to view the full size image. This link shows up in a small box that also contains the image EXIF data. I’d rather not allow visitors to view the full size image because then it would allow them to download it too.
Is there a way to disable this link or edit the theme to remove it? Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @boulderskier!
The only way to hide that link would be with Custom CSS (part of a Premium Plan or Business Plan).
With that, you could open My Site > Customize > CSS and add this snippet:
a.jp-carousel-image-download { display: none; }One note – hiding that link will not prevent your images from being downloaded. They can still be right clicked on the main site, or in the carousel directly. Generally speaking, if you post an image on the internet, it’s going to be possible for it to be downloaded (it needs to be, in order for it to be visible to people who come to your site).
Have you considered adding a watermark to your images? There are online tools you can use to help with that:

Thanks for the response. Since I have just started and don’t have a premium plan I’ll just plan on resizing my images before adding them to my site to limit their overall resolution. I understand the inherent risk in posting my images. I just don’t like to make it easier for them to access a version larger than their screen size. I really appreciate the direct and concise response though. I’m glad I chose to go with WordPress.com.
