Disable wordpress.com Email Login Link
-
I work for a web development agency, and the services we offer sometimes require us to log into our client’s wordpress.com accounts.
I tried to connect my client’s jetpack and woocommerce accounts and when I tried to log in, I got this screen that says “We just emailed you a link. Please check your inbox and click the link to log in”
https://webpagefx.mangoapps.com/sf/MTgyOTEwXzY0NjczMDAWe had him forward us the email almost immediately, but we were not able to log in with it because it had expired.
Not being able to log into our clients’ accounts presents a real issue for us. Is there any way to disable this login behavior so we can log in directly?

Hi there,
Your clients should not be allowing you to log into their accounts, nor should you be requesting that type of access. We cannot help you bypass security precautions on other people’s accounts.
If you need admin access to your clients’ sites, they can invite your account as an admin via the My Site ->Manage ->People screen, which will give you full access to do anything you need to do on their sites, including creating a Jetpack connection for the site.
Connecting a WooCommerce account to a WordPress.com account is as simple as visiting WooCommerce.com while logged into a WordPress.com account, and clicking the login link at the top of the page, so your clients should be able to do this themselves.
