Disabling "About Author" after each post in Elegant Grunge
-
My blog started to show my gravatar and the prompt “View all posts by this author” after each post. This is bothersome because I’m the only author of the blog. Could this be removed? I didn’t find the answer either on my Dashboard or in the Forums.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Very few themes have an author profile that displays below every post. In most themes there is no such feature and the data derived from here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile > About You (section) does not appear on the blog, it appears appears on your Gravatar profile page only. If you delete the text in that section it will not longer appear on your Gravatar Profile page or in the author profile below each post.
You can switch to a theme that is NOT designed to display an author profile below each post. For a partial list of themes that provide author bylines and/or author profiles or not see > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/

Have you used Elegant Grunge from the start of your site, or did you only switch to this theme recently?

@timethief
I see! This very much answers my question. Thank you for a prompt response!! I think I’ll just put up with that, in any case, it’s good to know.@justjennifer
Thank you likewise. You’re right, I only switched recently, which may be the reason why I didn’t see the author feature before. (Or I just didn’t notice it, though I doubt that.)
