Hi there,
If you want to permanently delete your site, please follow this guide:
Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a site, as after 30 days we purge the site entirely and we can’t revert a site deletion for any reason.
If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so only you and other members of the site can view it when logged in:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
Thanks,

Hi,
The deletion of a site on WordPress.com is a permanent action, one that means you’ll never be able to reuse the address again (unless the action is reversed within 30 days). See Delete Site support page, and its section Permanently Deleting Your Site.
The same support page includes a section titled Alternative Options. The last option listed there, making the site private, might be the best option in this case. See the Privacy Options section of the Privacy Settings support page.
