Disabling Comments

    ¿Is there a way to disable comments on the blog? I prefer people to email me their comments, so i would like to disable the chance to allow comments on the blog. How do I do that?

    For new posts from now on:
    Settings > Discussion > Default article settings > Uncheck the box that says “Allow people to post comments on new articles”

    For old posts
    Posts > Edit > Quick Edit every single post, uncheck the “Allow comments” box on every single post. (Actually I think you can do that as a bulk edit)

    Re bulk editing:

    Posts > Edit: tick the box up left before the word “Post” (to select all posts shown on the screen), select Edit from the “Bulk Actions” dropdown, click Apply, select “Do not Allow” from the “Comments” dropdown, click Update Posts.
