Disabling Comments

    Hi there, We have comments disabled on our site yet I can see that we are still receiving comments on the posts we make. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there!

    That sounds a little unexpected. However, we are unable to look into the issue since your site is not hosted by us at WordPress.com. Your site uses WordPress.org and is hosted by a different hosting company, GoDaddy. We can help with WordPress.com sites in this forum.

    There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it well: WordPress.com vs WordPress.org.

    I’d recommend posting on the WordPress.org support forum with further details (such as the link to the post where you’re getting comments). Folks over there can help with sites using WordPress.org.
