disabling comments

    I have read all your help documentation but am having trouble fixing my issue (I want to eliminate all comments from all pages).

    your documentation says:

    To change the comment settings for a post or page you already published, open it for editing. In your Dashboard, go to either Pages or Posts, locate the one you want to edit, and click on its title.
    Then, locate the Discussion module on the edit screen, and either check or uncheck the options it offers.

    However, I do not see a “discussion module” on my edit screen. In fact, the only discussion settings I can find are under “settings” and “discussion”. Supposedly I have the ability to receive comments on some pages/posts but not others, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how! Help!

    Presently, I have one set of embedded pages (Accommodations) that have no comments, but I have NO IDEA WHY!?

    The discussion module might be hidden.

    To show it again you should click on “Screen Options” in the right corner of the post editing screen, and check the box next to “Discussion”.
