Disabling dates

    I am using one of the WP-provided themes, PressRow by Chris Pearson. Though I have used WP elsewhere on its own server, I know my options for customization are limited in terms of alerting a themes various properties. Is there any work-around for keeping the date of each post from being listed? Thank you!

    There isn’t one per say. At worpress.com we all work on a multiuser blogging platform. We cannot access our underlaying template files and thus cannot edit. If you could then removing the dates on your blog would remove them on every other blog with the Cutline theme. Also note that when themes are adapted for wordpress.com they do not usually contain all features of the original themes coded to run on wordpress.org software.

    This is speculation – I believe your only option maybe purchasing a css customization upgrade and doing the work yourself. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/search.php?q=removing+date

    I’m no css expert so let’s wait for one to drop into the forum and give you an opinion. :)

    The good news is you can hide the date in PressRow by adding this line to your stylesheet:

    .post h4 {display:none}

    The bad news is you can only do this if you spend $15 on the CSS upgrade.
