Disabling default media/image links
-
I am trying to disable the media file link associated with images that I’ve inserted into my site as a gallery block. I’d eventually like to use each image as a link to internal/external pages, but I have not yet built out all the pages yet. Currently, if someone clicks on an image not associated with a page, it will link to the image file. Can I make it so that they are unable to click the image at all?
I found this retired thread (https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/disable-automatically-adding-links-to-media-on-images/), and I am wondering whether I need someone to help me change the default.
