Disabling infinite scroll on Reader?
-
I’ve consulted the help information already, but I can’t seem to disable Infinite Scroll on my Reader page. There is no option to disable it under Settings > Reading*. I am using the latest update of the Firefox browser to view the Reader.
I absolutely detest infinite scroll, as for me it becomes extremely difficult to keep track of which posts I have or have not read– and additionally, it causes my computer (bought less than three months ago) to perform poorly.
I have disabled this feature for visitors to my blog, but I desperately want to also disable it from my Reader ASAP.
Can anyone please help me locate the proper setting?

Hi,
thank you for you quick response. I am disappointed to learn that infinite scroll cannot be disabled, but this is all the information I require.
I have no desire to change my settings or computing environment to adapt to a feature I do not want or need when they cause no problems elsewhere. My computer works perfectly well with all other sites which do not use infinite scrolling, or on sites which present this feature as a user-accessible option.
While I am sure it will make little to no difference, I would like to register with WordPress.com my displeasure with the fact that this cannot be disabled. It is my belief that such features should be an option so that users may decide for themselves whether they would like to avail of it or not.
I will begin seeking alternatives to the built-in WordPress.com reader which might better suit my needs.
Again, thank you for answering my question, and for your quick response time.
