Disabling "keep image" option from a portfolio website

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, my name is Francesc Badia. I have recently created a portfolio wordpress site. I would like to disable the option to download an image/illustration from the ones I’ve posted by “right clicking” on them, in order to avoid “copy and paste” without permission or piracy. That would be quite helpful as I’m beginning to develop my career as an illustrator. Thank you and regards

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Francesc,

Currently, there isn’t a way to prevent users from right-clicking on your images and downloading them. Your best bet would be to include a watermark on the image to discourage downloads.

If you do happen to notice someone has copied content from your blog, you can report it as content theft as discussed here:

    Prevent Content Theft

Please let me know if you need anything else!

Ok Thank you. I would like to ask you another question, is there a way to make the logo of my site smaller? It occupies quiet a lot of space and I would like it to appear smaller. The one on the upper left side “Frans Bv with the crab”. Thank you

    Hi!

Have you tried sizing down the header image to a smaller size? Currently, your uploaded image is quite big. Sizing it down before re-uploading should make your logo smaller on your page.

    Thank you that worked!
