Disabling Site

  Hi there. I’m wanting to disable my site for the foreseeable future. Essentially, I want to shut it down but have the ability to come back to it when I’m able (not losing the custom design/coding, etc that I paid for). How do I do this?

  Also I have hosting setup with Host Gator. Would I be able to delete that account? Or would that delete my site somehow? Thank you!

  If you have a web hosting with HostGator, it means you have a self-hosted WordPress site.

  We’re only able to help with the websites hosted on WordPress.com.
