Disabling the "Howdy! How can we help?" popup

Hi,
I wonder if someone knows a way to disable the very irritating, distracting and (imho) useless “Howdy! How can we help?” popup. This thing randomly keeps popping up in the bottom right corner of my Dashboard pages. And even when I just clicked it away, within five minutes or so on a next Dashboard page this same blue nuisance will pop up again…
Is there a setting somewhere to permanently kill this awful thing? Thanks for any tips!

According to macmanx, Happiness Engineer, in a 2012 thread on this issue, titled Blue chat box,
For now, you can permanently remove the blue tax/box by clicking the X on the right side of it.

Excuse me, this reaction may be funny but it’s not to the point.
My whole point being that when I click it away, no, it will not disappear “permanently”. It will reappear some minutes later on the next Dashboard page, causing the need to click it again. And five minutes again. And so on.
I’m looking for some kind of setting that will prevent this popup from ever appearing, and thus will prevent the need to keep clicking that **** thing.

Not funny at all. That thread I provided the link to was two years old, and what may have been a “permanent” modifying action then may not be now.I will tag the thread for Staff attention, and wish you the best.

The last reply from the staff was that there was no way to disable the popup – depending on your plan it might appear often or from time to time – if you don’t have a plan that includes live chat – you will see the box when the staff doing the live chat support are caught up – then they turn on some type of que system for blog owners that are in the dashboard –
