Disabling the Privacy & Cookies Prompt

    Hello, I have been asked to disable my prompt for the ‘privacy and cookies’ line. In other words, by disabling it, people who come to my blog will not see the ‘privacy & cookies’ overlay at the bottom as the overlay will no longer appear for them. How do I do this? Thanks.

    Hi there,

    It is not possible to disable that notice. We display ads on all free sites on WordPress.com, and we are legally obligated to show that notice on any site where we show ads.

    The only way to not have that notice appear is to upgrade to one of our paid plans, which will prevent ads from showing on your site, so the notice won’t be necessary any more in that case.
