Disallow comments on photos

  Is there any way to disable comments on a photo? I assume the comment is attached to the image attachment URL: I’ve been getting tons of spam on a certain image, and disabling comments on the actual post does not affect it.

  Hi there,

  You can indeed disable comments for an image. The steps aren’t hard, but the settings are a bit hidden. We’ve created a help page for disabling the comments for a page or a post, but the settings exist for media as well. You’ll just need to go to your Dashboard >> Media Library >> That image and then follow the instructions on this help page:
