Disapeared Posts

  Hi, Bigalphy here. I recently wanted to make some changes to my blog, move and edit some stuff etc. In order to facilitate this I moved most of my posts into trash and left a post on the front page saying site down for maintenance. Imagine my surprise when i went to do some work on the posts and hey, they have disappeared from trash, gone, vamoosed, they are now non posts. I don’t remember deleting them, I don’t remember being told they would be deleted after a period of time. Good people of WordPress, are my posts assigned to the ether equivalent of limbo, shall I wander desperately for eternity search for the lost words of Bigalphy’s imagination or shall my blog and I be once more united and whole?

  NEVER trash posts you want to keep. Trash is automatically emptied after 30 days.

  Delete a Page or Post

  Just set posts back to drafts, or set them to private unless you really want them deleted.
