Disappearance of categories after importing!

    I exported all my data using the conventional way: from the “Manage–> Export” part. Afterwards I imported the “Export File” (the file WordPress gives to you after exporting). Everything is fine but the categories are gone from the sidebar and only those marked “uncategorized” exist.

    What Could I do to get back the categories on my sidebar.
