Disappearing Blocks
-
When I attempt to edit my post, it is not showing the paragraph I wrote nor the social icons. They are there when I look at the published post, but not in the editor so I can’t make any changes to the paragraph on that post.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Have you tried clearing the cache of your browser. I see that there is a social icon block on your post. Would you please try to find the block from your post List View.
To check list view,
>Go to your_site->Posts->All Posts
>Open the post in editor
>Now from the top left click on icon ‘list view’. Screenshot
>From there you can search for social icons block to edit.Hope this helps. Or please let us know here.
Thanks -
I’ve already cleared the cache and tried a different browser. The block isn’t there. I only have blocks for my slideshow in editor. It doesn’t make any sense to me.
Here is a screenshot -
It looks like this will appear on every post even when I don’t add them. I tried to recreate my post and it looks like the stuff I can’t see in editor showed up again. https://gabemccrary.wordpress.com/2022/02/02/12-years-2/

Hi @pageofgabe,
Looking at your post titled 12 Years, it looks like you have edited the post template in the site editor to add thee blocks in question. Here’s what that looks like: https://d.pr/v/JPnlqH/FhV4Mempwl
In this case, any posts with that template applied will have the same content. I recommend editing the template to remove the content, as shown here:
Save your changes, and then you can then add the block content back in the post itself, rather than the template.
Since the site editor is new, I suggest reviewing our guide to using it here: https://wordpress.com/support/full-site-editing/
Hope that helps!
