Disappearing blog post

  Hi, I seem to have a problem with a disappearing blog. I wrote it and posted it, and about 10 minutes later as I was proofreading it, it simply disappeared. There appears to be no record of it on the ‘all posts’ page, in drafts or versions, or anything like that. However, on doing a goodle search the firs few lines turns up in a google link a dated 3 days from now (future) and when I click on it I get taken to my home page and my PREVIOUS blog – as if the one I wrote and posted last night never existed.

  I have a friend who is a subscriber, who sent me a note talking about the content, which she was able to read. She says it appeared in her google reader, but she like any one I know with an ordinary google search, can’t see any evidence of the blog. I’ve had a surge of readers – 13 (sorry but sadly for me this is a surge) as I normally do after a new post, and I still can’t see it.

  Hi Mariellen,

  Would you be able to let me know the title of the blog post that disappeared for you? I do see one item in your Trash folder (Dashboard -> Posts -> Trash).

  If that is not the post that you lost, would you mind giving me the first few lines that appear in Google so that I can try searching for it as well? Thanks!
