Disappearing blogs
-
I started up a number of wordpress.com blogs which have disappeared from sight to me. Yet I used to be able to see these wordpress.com blogs which I started and paid for.
These included fuguescapes.wordpress.com.
Could you kindly let me know where I can find these on my site.
Thank you.Ruth Skilbeck

Hi Ruth!
I do see a number of sites created under your account. Fifteen of them, including fuguescapes.
Would you visit this page for me?
Do you see all fifteen of them on that page? Are you expecting more than 15 sites on your account?
Best,
-Alex G.

Hi Alex,
That’s it, I don’t see them there, all I see on that page is the sites I own the domains for.
Best,

Hi Ruth,
Okay, I see what’s happening here. While you have 15 sites, you have 11 of them marked as Hidden from your Dashboard. Read what that means here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility
That’s why only 4 are showing up in your “My Sites” page. You can see a list of all your sites, including which are Hidden and which are Visible, through your Admin Dashboard’s settings:
https://postmistresspress.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
On that page you can adjust your dashboard visibility settings to show your blogs correctly on “My Sites.” Hover over “Hidden” and a Make Visible option appears:
Note that this option only affects the visibility on your dashboards. It does not affect the dashboards of anyone else, nor does it affect others’ access to the blog. Your private blogs will remain private.
Best,
-Alex G.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for this. I had not been able to see the My Blogs page, it did not come up for me previously visibly as it does now. Yes, I can see all of them, and am able to adjust the settings now which I could not previously (although before the changes to the site I could).
Thanks for sorting this out.
Best,

So glad Alex got this sorted out for you. :)
I’ll pass on your thanks. And let us know if there’s anything else we can help with!
