Disappearing comment reply box

  I have been able to up til the last few days when a subscriber post a comment I can approve said comment then it would take me to the screen with a reply option box. That has disappeared and I have gone through all the troubleshooting they recommended and nothing. I keep coming up with the Edit Page. name, email address and URL of the person making the comment. How can I get my original screen back? This site has become less user friendly in recent months.
