Disappearing comments

My readers have told me that they left comments on my post but when I check, they weren’t there.
It happened to me today when I was replying to some comments and I refresh the page and it was gone! I swore i hit the submit button.
Is anyone having the same problems?

Yes, I am having some problems during the past 45 minutes. I posted a comment; it didn’t show up (MSN browser). I went to my Firefox browser, the comment wasn’t there. I commented again. Not only did it show up then, but the prior comment (from the MSN browser) and an additional guest comment was there. I went to edit a previous comment from a different guest (same post). When I went back to the post after editing that comment, the edited comment was not edited, my two comments weren’t there, and the additional guest comment had also disappeared.
I also wanted to delete a post from earlier today, and that’s not working out for me, either.

WordPress seems to be having some problems. When you make a post or a comment, it seems to be saving them and not displaying them right away. Wait fifteen minutes and check again to see if they show up. The techs have been alerted.
In the meantime, I suggest that you copy your posts before hitting Publish and put them in a file on your hard drive, just in case. Then you can just upload them if they don’t eventually show up.

It’s working for me now, and my editing and commenting efforts worked out. In the meantime, I had shutdown and restarted my laptop; perhaps the trouble was on my end versus the WordPress end.

It’s working for me now. I had to refresh many times and log on and log off on my account. That did it for me.
