disappearing comments

  hello wp,
  over the past couple days i’ve posted comments to perhaps 10 blogs which i have been following and the comments disappear, like they need approval. thing is, most of these blogs did not require approval of each comment as i’ve made other comments in the past. is there some other explanation? thanks for any advice, david :-)
