Disappearing comments

My own comments have been disappearing off my site. Not going to trash. Or spam. Just disappearing when I hit “submit.” I have had a reader contact me and tell me they’ve been having the same problem consistently. I don’t know how many people it’s happening to. It’s not happening for everyone every time, and I’m really not sure how to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated!

Wow! That’s very strange. In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.

4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.

(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) Exactly what you experience including what any error reports you receive state. -
yes some of my comments are disappearing as also are the likes that i put on posts can someone sort it please or let me know if it is a problem with other people too?

Using Chrome. I’ll do all these things and get back to you, but I don’t think that is the problem, as it’s only my blog the reader and I are having problems with; we comment on many other WordPress.com blogs and self-hosted WordPress without issue.

There is no known issue that I am aware of. If there had been one I would have said so. I posted what to do above. Please take action and then report back as I asked. -
