Disappearing Comments on Following Blogs

All my comments (reasonable and nothing spam like) has been disappearing on every blog post I choose to comment on. This is so so bloody frustrating because not only have I put a lot of effort into those comments, it’s also been a reoccurring thing (never was last year) and now I don’t even bother commenting on anything anymore.

Use this form https://akismet.com/contact/ to contact Akismet Staff and select: I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake.
Never submit generic comments like excellent post. Know that if you do not refer to the post content in a comment box, and do not add anything meaningful to the discussion or add to knowledge of the subject matter, your comments can be considered as spam.

Thanks timethief, but I can definitely assure that I’m no spammer, nor will I ever leave simple generic comments or spam comments. Everything I comment is DEFINITELY related to the blog post, but I don’t know why, or how my comments are being ridiculously filtered into the spam section (or deleted automatically). I believe I am not the only WordPress member to have experienced this.
Anyhow, I really hope Akismet is going to be of help.

Sometimes Akismet accidentally catches real posts. I’ve released yours from the forum’s spam queue. Contacting Akismet by using that special form timethief mentioned is the right route to get it sorted out. Good luck!
