The Admin login link for that site is
http://amazingwalks.wordpress.com/wp-admin
The saved draft posts are found at
http://amazingwalks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=postThe saved draft pages are found at
http://amazingwalks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=pageStaff are working on improving post and page revisions. The most recent 25 revisions are available for posts and pages.
If you cannot restore from your browser, or locate a revision, or restore from Trash then the content has been lost and cannot be recovered.
re: recovering a lost post or page
Please go to https://wordpress.com/post with the same browser and see if it offers to restore a post. If a restore button appears, that means a local copy was saved in your browser and you may be able to recover it.If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Pages > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needed.

I recommend:
1. Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > Add New and pages at Dashboard > Pages > Add New
If you have cookies enabled on your browser your preference will be saved unless or until your clear your cookies, and it will take you to the classic editor automatically every time you create a new post via the drop-down menu in the black admin bar or edit a post via the edit button on the blog itself.2. Immediately after creating a post and entering a title click the save draft link. Thereafter, “click save draft” frequently.
3. Always allow pages to fully load before clicking any other links.
4. Never leave a post or page open for content creation or editing and walk away from it, or open another tab in the same blog and work on something else while it is still open. Save it properly and return to edit it later.
5. Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/
If you were using the app you could report that here https://apps.wordpress.org/support/

Dear Timethief, thank you for your valuable advice. I was able to recover the post contents today, but only after I had changed my blog and email passwords. What do you think is the reasons for this? How can I monitor the log-in history of my blog?
-
I do not have an answer for you. Perhaps Staff does. I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Also subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. @amazingwalks I’ve looked at your logs and I don’t see any evidence of the content being removed.
Only the title, preview picture and comments are visible. It is not in trash.
Can you tell me what page you were looking at when you saw that?
-
Hi Supernovia. I think the contents may not have been removed. It is just that they did not appear. I went to amazingwalks.wordpress.com as well as viewed/tried to restore it after having logged in from control panel. I also used different desktop browsers, PC and also my mobile phone. I was only able to restore successfully after changing my blog password yesterday. Before that when I tried to restore the contents would still not appear after pressing UPDATE.

Dear Timethief thank you for your time and input. Yes I am being notified of answers to this question via email. I suspected that the problem was a widespread system glitch but apparently I am the only one who experienced it.

Before that when I tried to restore the contents would still not appear after pressing UPDATE.
Can you clarify what you mean there?
-
Hi Supernovia. What I meant is that when I wanted to restore a previous version of the post it did not work. I saw the previous version displayed but when I tried to update the post with it, it did not work.
-
@amazingwalks , ah, I understand now. Can you try going back to one version before to see if it helps?
-
Hi Supernovia. The post contents has been restored. If I remember correctly the problem persisted regardless of which past edition I tried to restore. The problem was only solved after I changed the blog password.
-
@amazingwalks okay. I’m glad it worked out. If you see this again, please let us know so we can try to check what’s going wrong. Thanks!
