Disappearing followers

  Hi
  I’ve recently started a blog and I’m getting some supporters to follow. A couple signed up this morning (I had an email telling me they’d done so). Then someone else followed the blog (someone I don’t know at all) – again had an email confirming this. Since then another friend has followed – once again had an email. When I just looked at the stats the only person listed is the one I don’t know; where have the others (who were there) gone?
