disappearing headlines

  i have a newsblog and cut and paste headlines into it…frequently, but not every time, they become semi-invisible when i do this–they show up when highlighted, but are not visible unless highlighted.

  someitmes, but not every time, i can solve this by assigning a specific color to the headline, but sometimes that doesn’t help….i don’t know code well enough to look at the code and figure anything out…i didn’t seem to have this problem with the theme i used in my other blog…could it be theme-specific?

  Please do not cut and paste HTML into your blog. You will be picking up all kinds of tags that won’t be properly closed and if it hasn’t caused a problem so far you’ve been very, very lucky.

  You can paste them into the title space, but not into the body, because as far as I know HTML is stripped out of the title space.

  Why not just copy the headlines into Notepad or something like that, THEN copy from that and paste them in. You have to add the links manually afterwards, but at least this way won’t mess up your blog.

  On the extended tool bar there is also a “paste as plain text” button which will bring up a box that you can paste things from the web into that will strip out the codes so as not to cause problems.
