disappearing images

  I am a school librarian and I’ve created a blog for my students to post reviews of the books they’ve been reading. When I post a new review, I like to include an image of the cover of the book. Many of these images keep disappearing from the site. The site is for a school and it is only accessible if you are given the link (it doesn’t come up in searches). I’m wondering if the images are being removed for some copyright reasons. I thought that this would fall under fair use but perhaps I’m wrong. Or maybe there’s some other reasons that the images are disappearing? Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

  Hello,

  As rootjosh mentioned, it would be great if you could provide the URL so we can see what’s going on.

  But meanwhile, there’s a possibility you might want to think about: If (for some reason) you have deleted any images from your Media Library, that will also cause those same images to disappear from your pages and posts. Here’s some information about the Media Library:

  I have been copying and pasting images into the blog posts. Could that actually be the problem? Would it be best to actually upload each image into the media library?

  Yes, I think the uploading the images into the media library would resolve this issue.
