Disappearing images and little red Xs

I had one image (“Tussah silk”)out of 5 disappear, leaving only a little red X. I have been using IE browser exclusively but the image appears fine using Firefox, so wassup with that?
Will try to delete and re-insert the image but I have spent two of the last three days in one image hell or another and I’ve really had it.

More than likely the issue is with IE because they have so many problems when it comes to websites. But the images are still in the media library right?

Also make sure the image doesn’t have any punctuation in the name. WP.com is fussy about hyphens, etc.

I fixed the problem by re-inserting the image but thanks for letting me know that there is a media library. I’m really new to this and learning more every day (sometimes more than I want to). None of my captions have any punctuation but that’s something else to keep in mind. Thanx.
