Disappearing LIKES

  Hi,
  I’m having the same problem with my blog mindmills.wordpress.com.
  I get ‘post liked’ notifications, both on my WP reader page, on my blog page, and iPhone app, but when I look at the ‘liked post’, there’s nothing.
  Today I realized it only shows the likes in the WP reader, and iPhone reader page, but only in the preview. When you click into the post, still, there’s nothing.
  I feel there’s an incompatibility between Apple and WordPress. (I’m using MacBook Pro & iPhone).
  I check this issue with a Windows bases PC browser and another smart phone (Android Wp app), and there I see the like(s) I’ve been notified.
  I’ll follow up the thread and look forward to a solution.

  Hi,
  When I subscribed to this forum, I was referring to the below post.

  However, I’ve been having this issue with previous posts for sometime now. The problem with the post above was somehow resolved – maybe 12 hours later.
  But then again, the issue kept coming up, on and off, with my later posts within those 15 days.
  I seem to be getting the like notifications now, simultaneously the likes appear in my posts – both on the web browser and the app.
  I hope there’s a permanent solution.

  I currently see two likes on that post. Do you also encounter the issue on different browsers? like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer? Can you also reproduce this from a different Internet connection?

  It sounds like the same bug that so many of us have been having for several weeks.

  Can I just add, that while the likes don’t seem to appear, after a while they do. I get email notifications that people are liking something, but when I go to the page they aren’t there, then after a couple of hours, they all seem to appear. It is like there is a loose connection somewhere.

  Hi @kardotim,
  I use Firefox, but checked this with Safari and Google Chrome. Same issue exists in all.
  I agree with @leannewhatever. I’ve been encountering the same thing for a month or so.
