Disappearing mobile menu and sub menu items
-
When someone clicks on the ellipsis, all of the sub menu items are displayed. Is there a way for those to stay hidden until the parent menu item is selected?
There is also a glitchy element that is slightly frustrating. When you start to scroll down after selecting the ellipses, the menu disappears. Does anyone know anything about that?

The ellipsis expanding the menu is controlled by javascript so there’s not much we can do to change the behaviour. You could set the sub-menu items to hide and show based on the hover state but that would only work for desktop sites, not mobile or tablets – which would be a bit pointless.
I can confirm that the disappearing menu on mobile issue is present using mobile Firefox (v 47.0) on Android Lollipop (5). But not when I spoof an iPhone in my browser.
I’ll flag the thread for a member of staff to see and investigate further, can you post a reply and state which phone/OS and browser you’re using and include the version numbers – it should help with the troubleshooting.

Hmm, the ellipsis works as designed. The disappearing menu thing: not so much. Pique is typically for much smaller, one-page sites, so this must be a bug with more complicated structures.
I’ll report this for you and let you know what we find.

Hello!
Thanks again for reporting this issue! We’ve tracked down the cause in Pique, and have deployed a fix. I’ve doubled checked your site, https://byuicnc.com, and the menu no longer closes on scroll on iPhones.
Just let us know if you have any questions about this, or run into further issues!
