disappearing page
-
Recently, my Kubrick theme deleted itself. It has now put itself back together, for which I am grateful. However, the opening page About… has disappeared entirely.
What to do?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sorry, but I don’t understand. Kubrick is a very old theme and it did not support navigation tabs, nor does it support a custom top navigation menu. What I mean is, how did you have an “about” page there at all?
There is now a modlook tag so staff can take a look at what’s going on.

Hi there wgsutm66,
I don’t see an about page in your Pages (not in the trash, I mean), so I suspect you mean that you had a static front page, and then your posts went to a different page?
If so, you will need to set this up here:
https://ppag.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.phpRight now your Homepage and your Posts page are the same – they have to be different. If you want people to navigate to your blog and first see a little information about your organization but NOT your posts, you want to set up a page specifically for that, and set it as your homepage. Then you will need to designate a different page for your posts page.
Once you’ve done that, scroll allll the way to the bottom and click save!
This should take care of the issue.
Cheers!
