Disappearing post

I wrote two stories this evening, one which was published immediately and then a second which was scheduled for tomorrow just after 7am. When I completed the second though, the first seemed to disappear. i’ve checked in trash, scheduled, drafts etc. It was definitely published, as it appeared on the related Facebook page, but if you click on the link there i an error 404 message.

It had a very (very few) views initially but now nothing at all is showing on the stats – although, weirdly, the post schedule for tomorrow already has 24 views! That one is http://thelochsidepress.com/2015/10/26/no-changes-yet-for-exam-system-at-hermitage-academy/

Did you happen to stat them both around the same time but in separate tabs? It sounds like they got mixed up in the browser.
If you look at revisions for the post about the exam system, you can see the content for the nursing home one:
https://thelochsidepress.wordpress.com/wp-admin/revision.php?revision=5374It looks like you accidentally wrote one over the other, but I’m not sure how it got into a state like that!

Thanks for the quick response – yes I got it back using the revisions link, which had the text and pix for post 1, with tags & categories for post 2!

Very strange! Seems like it just got all jumbled. We’re going to be making some updates to the editor very soon, so hopefully what you’re describing now won’t be an issue at all at that point. If you do run into trouble after the update, reply back here and I will be happy to look into it in more detail with you.
