Disappearing Post

Hello,
I have tried writing a blog post twice this evening and both times it was wiped out. The first time, it saved as the draft I wrote this morning and overwrote my most current draft. The second time, I published it, went to make an edit, and the entire post was erased. This is incredibly frustrating, to the say the least. Why does it keep wiping it out and is there anyway to recover it? Please let me know if you can help. Thank you
