Disappearing post

  Can you help me recover a post that didn’t save? I wrote a post yesterday called that I thought I published. I logged in today and saw that it hadn’t. I went into “posts,” thinking that maybe I didn’t hit publish and it would be in the drafts, but it was nowhere in the drafts. Weirdly, the images that I uploaded for the post are still in my media library. Is there any way to recover the post?

  Hi there – is this the post?

  If so, it looks like you accidentally created and published it as a page: http://rosettesandrevolution.com/up-in-the-air/

  You can copy and paste the content into a post instead, and then publish it again. :)

  Note that you might need to reupload the images that are appearing in a gallery, since for a gallery to work, the images must be “attached” to the post they appear in. They’re already attached to the page, and there’s no way to unattach and reattach them without just uploading them again.
